Lemon Tree B&B in Kloof, Durban

Verandah at Lemon Tree B&B

We spent four peaceful nights at Lemon Tree B&B in Kloof, Durban.  Upon our arrival we noticed that Jane, host and owner of Lemon Tree, had chalked a welcome note for us on the visitor’s blackboard.  Here genteel charm made us feel at home straight away.

Kitchen

Table and chairs on verandah

Jane led us to a separate cottage complete with its own entrance.  A feature kitchen, with a rectangular four-seater table is central to the guest accommodation.  At opposing ends, two spacious double rooms, each with a private bathroom adjoin the kitchen.

Double-doors, from the kitchen lead out onto a deep, covered verandah with outdoor furniture where one can sit comfortably to read or relax.  This configuration makes it ideal for friends or family travelling together.

We loved our room, classically furnished, with crisp white linens, soft towels, a tea tray for self-service and especially the desk and chair where we were able to sit and make notes and check emails.

Some further features are:

  • Safe parking
  • Cable TV
  • Wi-Fi
  • None breakfast option or self-catering
  • Walking distance to the local convenience store, coffee shop, pharmacy
  • Close to the main motorways

Lemon Tree B&B offers genuine value for money without compromising their quality and comfort.
